Ingredients:
200gm ghee.
1 tsp cumin powder.
3 large cardmoms.
2 bay leaves.
3 sticks cinamon.
6 pieces clove.
500gm basmati rice.
200gm carrot juliennes.
150gm green peas.
150gm chopped french beans.
1 liter water.
salt to taste.
2 tbsp biryani pulav masala.
Method:
Heat ghee in a pan for a few minutes. Add cumin powder, cardmoms, bay leaves, cinnamons and clove. stir for 2 minutes. Now add basmati rice and stir for 5 minutes. Now add carrot, green peas, french beans, salt, water and biryani pulav masala. Stir. cover the pan and reduce the flame to low. Allow the rice to simmer and cook in the flavours for 25 to 30 minutes or till all the water has been absorbed. Garnish with stir fried cashews and serve steaming hot accompanied with yoghurt.
