- 1 tbsp rice soaked in 1/4 cup of water for half an hour.
- 1 litre milk
- 2 to 2-1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 5 almonds blanched and sliced
- 3 pistachio nuts blanched and sliced
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 tbsp cardamom powder
Preparation method:
Crush the soaked rice in the grinder jar to a paste. Put the milk, rice paste and sugar in a vessel and cook till the milk has thickened and then remove from fire. Add the raisins, pistachio nuts, cardamom, almonds and mix well. Serve chilled.
*After the milk begins to boil, stir every 10 minutes throughout the preparation to avoid burning at the base.
